Welcome from the Vialli and Mauro Foundation
for research and sport onlus
On the 7th of May 2007, 25 Golf Professionals, 25 Sporting Champions and 50 entrepreneurs will descend on the course during the occasion of the IV edition of the Vialli and Mauro Golf Cup.
During this day of sport under the banner of charity, the participants will put all of their competitive spirit on the course while respecting important values such as friendship, education and the integrity of the game.
It is with great pleasure that we again hold the Pro-Am at the Bogogno Golf Club. We have enjoyed ourselves greatly over the past years and we have appreciated the warm relationship that has been established between the supporters and the players. A special appreciation is extended to the President of the Club, Dr. Paolo Spadaccini, and to the Director Mr. Gianluigi Orecchioni, that each year have done every thing possible to welcome us with their best.
A lot of media will cover this edition which demonstrates the growing popularity of the match. The presence of the public which is more enthusiastic and numerous every year obliges us to recommend to everyone to observe an appropriate conduct of a true sportsmanship before, during and after the match.
We ask that each of you share our philosophy: enjoy yourselves, but respect the etiquette of the game. The rules are very few and all are based on good manners. Observe each hit in silence and applaud the results of every player. Golf is a wonderful sport but also extremely complicated and the players need your support.
We have worked hard to earn your support.

SPECTATOR ETIQUETTE:
- Turn off or silence your mobile phones.
- Observe in silence while the players of each team prepare and execute their hits and remain still until the entire team has played.
- Do not speak with the players during the match.
- Walk and do not run, observe the rules that are indicated by the Marshals
- Do not walk on the greens.
- The staff reserves the right to refuse access or nonetheless to remove all of those that are drinking alcohol during the match on the course and in the adjacent areas.
- A sportive dress is recommended with appropriate footwear for a grassy course. For protection of the course, access is prohibited for those wearing shoes with heels.
- Avoid asking for autographs or photographs from the players during the match, the Foundation appreciates your understanding.
- The drinking fountains on the course are exclusively reserved for the players. For your refreshments, you can go to the “Pool Bar” in the area by the swimming pool.
